KWN makes history with the first ever Official R&B UK number one
Good Girl tops the brand-new Official R&B UK Chart, with ELAM alumni taking four of the top five places.
ELAM alumna KWN has made chart history. Her single Good Girl is the first ever number one on the Official R&B UK Chart, a new weekly Top 20 from the Official Charts Company, developed with Everything R&B, that ranks the biggest R&B singles by British artists.
It was a remarkable first chart for ELAM alumni. KWN also took number three with Risk It All, while FLO, the trio that includes ELAM alumni Stella and Renée, held number two with Leak It and number five with Cry Ugly. That is four of the top five places.
The same week as Sienna
The new chart landed in the same week that fellow ELAM alumna Sienna Spiro reached number one on the Official Singles Chart with Great Expectation: a week we won’t forget in a hurry.
KWN is one of the UK’s most exciting R&B artists, known for her songwriting and self-production. Her viral hit Worst Behaviour and EP With All Due Respect followed collaborations with Kehlani and FLO, and she has been nominated at the BET, BRIT, Billboard and MOBO awards.
