LSA is a sixth form academy for students aged 16 to 19, founded by some of the UK's most successful film producers. Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do.

LSA is unique and exciting; we are redefining what creative education means through this partnership between London's best teachers and global professionals working in film and TV; our students are taught by both. Everything that LSA offers is practical, relevant and plugged into the real world, building a solid foundation for our students' futures.

ELAM is a 16-19 academy which opened in September 2014. ELAM offers young people everything that they will need to build successful creative career within the music, games design and film / video.

ELAM is working to build more valuable, diverse and sustainable creative industries. It provides young people of all backgrounds with a rigorous, informed and connected creative education. This is designed and delivered in full partnership with some of the UK's largest creative companies including Universal Music Group, YouTube, The BRIT Trust and Creative Assembly.

The FTV Educators Network is a UK-wide community of teachers dedicated to raising the standard of screen education. We bring together educators who are passionate about film, television, and screen storytelling, connecting them to each other and to the wider screen industry.

Through our network, members gain access to events and CPD, teaching resources, and monthly screen education updates. We also provide valuable networking opportunities to share practice, collaborate, and grow expertise across the sector.

Everything we do is shaped by the needs of teachers and informed by the realities of the screen industry. We're powered by our members and united by a commitment to equity, access, and improving outcomes for young people.

The Day One Trust is committed to scaling its impact by nurturing the next generation of film & TV teachers. Our innovative Industry Convertor Programme brings invaluable industry experience directly into the classroom at London Screen Academy (LSA).

This unique teacher training programme is designed for experienced screen industry professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise. Successful candidates embark on a structured training pathway, spending approximately four days per week at London Screen Academy — observing lessons, then co-planning and co-teaching alongside experienced educators, before taking responsibility for a number of classes on a reduced timetable. The fifth day is spent with our teacher training provider, leading to a recognised teaching qualification. Participants are paid throughout their training, with their salary point on the unqualified teacher pay scale determined by their prior industry experience.

This programme is specifically designed to leverage the vast knowledge and practical skills of industry professionals to educate future storytellers. In line with our mission to broaden access and representation within the screen industries, we particularly seek individuals from underrepresented groups, or those whose industry background brings new and diverse perspectives to our staff body.

ELAM Live Sessions is our YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing the raw talent coming out of East London Arts and Music. From stripped-back vocals to full-band sets, these sessions spotlight artists before the world catches on.

Live Sessions is a collaboration between our two schools: ELAM's students take the stage, while London Screen Academy's students support on the production, filming and editing of every session — giving both schools' students real, hands-on industry experience.

Alumni include BRIT Award-winning FLO, JVCK JAMES, KWN and many more making waves across music and beyond.
