Why we're going

Purpose of the trip

BRIT North is an approved free school for 16–19 year olds in Bradford, built around music, performance, production, film and digital creativity. We are working in partnership with the BPI Education Academy Trust, with the possibility of BRIT North joining Day One Trust.

Alongside the operational work already under way, we are making a series of local visits to build relationships across Bradford. This is one of them.

01

Know the place

Visit the BRIT North site and walk the city to get a real feel for Bradford and the young people the school will serve.

02

Widen the circle

Meet local cultural, industry and education leaders, and start the relationships BRIT North will rely on.

03

Shape the Trust

Hold a strategy session on the future of Day One Trust, then learn from Dixons Academies about their local education landscape.
